In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
At-Talaq 65:1
ۖ ۖ ۚ ۚ ۚ
O Prophet, when you divorce women, divorce them for their waiting period and count the waiting period. Be mindful of The God, your Lord. Do not expel them from their homes, nor should they leave, unless they commit an obvious indecency. These are The God’s limits; whoever transgresses The God’s limits has wronged himself. You do not know; perhaps The God will bring about something new after that.
At-Talaq 65:2
ۚ ۚ
When they reach the end of their term, retain them honorably or part with them honorably. Call two just people from among you as witnesses, and uphold the testimony for The God. This is an admonition for whoever believes in The God and the Last Day. Whoever is mindful of The God, He will make a way out for him.
At-Talaq 65:3
ۚ ۚ ۚ
He will provide for him from where he does not expect. Whoever puts his trust in The God, He is sufficient for him. The God brings His purpose to completion. The God has set a measure for everything.
At-Talaq 65:4
ۚ ۚ
For those of your women who have ceased menstruating, if you are in doubt, their waiting period is three months, and likewise for those who have not menstruated. The term for pregnant women is until they deliver their burden. Whoever is mindful of The God, He will make his affair easy for him.
At-Talaq 65:5
ۚ
That is The God’s command, which He has sent down to you. Whoever is mindful of The God, He will remove his misdeeds and make his reward great.
At-Talaq 65:6
ۚ ۚ ۖ ۖ
House them where you live, according to your means, and do not harm them to make things difficult for them. If they are pregnant, provide for them until they deliver their burden. If they nurse for you, give them their wages, and consult together honorably. If you find it difficult with one another, another woman will nurse for him.
At-Talaq 65:7
ۖ ۚ ۚ
Let one with ample means spend from his abundance; and let one whose provision is restricted spend from what The God has given him. The God burdens no soul beyond what He has given it. The God will bring ease after hardship.
At-Talaq 65:8
How many towns rebelled against the command of their Lord and His messengers! We called them to a severe account and punished them with a dreadful punishment.
At-Talaq 65:9
They tasted the evil consequences of their conduct, and the outcome of their conduct was loss.
At-Talaq 65:10
ۖ ۚ
The God has prepared a severe punishment for them. So be mindful of The God, people of understanding who believe. The God has sent down to you a reminder:
At-Talaq 65:11
ۚ ۖ
a messenger reciting to you The God’s clear verses, to bring those who believe and do righteous deeds out of darkness into light. Whoever believes in The God and does what is right, He will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow, to remain there forever. The God has made his provision good.
At-Talaq 65:12
The God is the One who created seven heavens, and of the earth their like. The command descends among them, so that you may know that The God has power over all things and that The God encompasses all things in knowledge.
