بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Al-Mulk 67:1

تَبٰرَكَ الَّذى بِيَدِهِ المُلكُ وَهُوَ عَلىٰ كُلِّ شَىءٍ قَديرٌ

Blessed is the One in whose hand is dominion, and He has power over all things.

Al-Mulk 67:2

الَّذى خَلَقَ المَوتَ وَالحَيوٰةَ لِيَبلُوَكُم أَيُّكُم أَحسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ العَزيزُ الغَفورُ

He created death and life to test you as to which of you is best in deeds. He is the Mighty, the Forgiving.

Al-Mulk 67:3

الَّذى خَلَقَ سَبعَ سَمٰوٰتٍ طِباقًا ۖ ما تَرىٰ فى خَلقِ الرَّحمٰنِ مِن تَفٰوُتٍ ۖ فَارجِعِ البَصَرَ هَل تَرىٰ مِن فُطورٍ

He created seven heavens in layers. You see no discrepancy in the creation of the Entirely Merciful. Look again: do you see any cracks?

Al-Mulk 67:4

ثُمَّ ارجِعِ البَصَرَ كَرَّتَينِ يَنقَلِب إِلَيكَ البَصَرُ خاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسيرٌ

Then look again and again; your sight will return to you defeated and weary.

Al-Mulk 67:5

وَلَقَد زَيَّنَّا السَّماءَ الدُّنيا بِمَصٰبيحَ وَجَعَلنٰها رُجومًا لِلشَّيٰطينِ ۖ وَأَعتَدنا لَهُم عَذابَ السَّعيرِ

We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps and made them missiles against the devils. We have prepared for them the punishment of the blazing fire.

Al-Mulk 67:6

وَلِلَّذينَ كَفَروا بِرَبِّهِم عَذابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئسَ المَصيرُ

For those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of Hell. What an evil destination!

Al-Mulk 67:7

إِذا أُلقوا فيها سَمِعوا لَها شَهيقًا وَهِىَ تَفورُ

When they are thrown into it, they hear it roaring as it boils.

Al-Mulk 67:8

تَكادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الغَيظِ ۖ كُلَّما أُلقِىَ فيها فَوجٌ سَأَلَهُم خَزَنَتُها أَلَم يَأتِكُم نَذيرٌ

It almost bursts with rage. Whenever a group is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, “Did no warner come to you?”

Al-Mulk 67:9

قالوا بَلىٰ قَد جاءَنا نَذيرٌ فَكَذَّبنا وَقُلنا ما نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَىءٍ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا فى ضَلٰلٍ كَبيرٍ

They say, “Yes, a warner came to us, but we denied him and said, ‘The God has sent down nothing; you are only in great error.’”

Al-Mulk 67:10

وَقالوا لَو كُنّا نَسمَعُ أَو نَعقِلُ ما كُنّا فى أَصحٰبِ السَّعيرِ

They say, “If we had listened or reasoned, we would not be among the companions of the blazing fire.”

Al-Mulk 67:11

فَاعتَرَفوا بِذَنبِهِم فَسُحقًا لِأَصحٰبِ السَّعيرِ

They acknowledge their sin. Away, then, with the companions of the blazing fire!

Al-Mulk 67:12

إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَخشَونَ رَبَّهُم بِالغَيبِ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَأَجرٌ كَبيرٌ

Those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and a great reward.

Al-Mulk 67:13

وَأَسِرّوا قَولَكُم أَوِ اجهَروا بِهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَليمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدورِ

Whether you conceal your speech or make it public, He knows what is within the breasts.

Al-Mulk 67:14

أَلا يَعلَمُ مَن خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطيفُ الخَبيرُ

Does the One who created not know? He is the Subtle, the Aware.

Al-Mulk 67:15

هُوَ الَّذى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الأَرضَ ذَلولًا فَامشوا فى مَناكِبِها وَكُلوا مِن رِزقِهِ ۖ وَإِلَيهِ النُّشورُ

He is the One who made the earth manageable for you. Walk through its regions and eat of His provision. To Him is the resurrection.

Al-Mulk 67:16

ءَأَمِنتُم مَن فِى السَّماءِ أَن يَخسِفَ بِكُمُ الأَرضَ فَإِذا هِىَ تَمورُ

Do you feel secure from the One in heaven causing the earth to swallow you, when suddenly it shakes?

Al-Mulk 67:17

أَم أَمِنتُم مَن فِى السَّماءِ أَن يُرسِلَ عَلَيكُم حاصِبًا ۖ فَسَتَعلَمونَ كَيفَ نَذيرِ

Or do you feel secure from the One in heaven sending a storm of stones against you? Then you will know how My warning is.

Al-Mulk 67:18

وَلَقَد كَذَّبَ الَّذينَ مِن قَبلِهِم فَكَيفَ كانَ نَكيرِ

Those before them also denied. How, then, was My rebuke!

Al-Mulk 67:19

أَوَلَم يَرَوا إِلَى الطَّيرِ فَوقَهُم صٰفّٰتٍ وَيَقبِضنَ ۚ ما يُمسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحمٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىءٍ بَصيرٌ

Have they not seen the birds above them spreading and folding their wings? None holds them up except the Entirely Merciful. He sees all things.

Al-Mulk 67:20

أَمَّن هٰذَا الَّذى هُوَ جُندٌ لَكُم يَنصُرُكُم مِن دونِ الرَّحمٰنِ ۚ إِنِ الكٰفِرونَ إِلّا فى غُرورٍ

What army is there for you that can help you besides the Entirely Merciful? The disbelievers are only in delusion.

Al-Mulk 67:21

أَمَّن هٰذَا الَّذى يَرزُقُكُم إِن أَمسَكَ رِزقَهُ ۚ بَل لَجّوا فى عُتُوٍّ وَنُفورٍ

Who will provide for you if He withholds His provision? Yet they persist in defiance and aversion.

Al-Mulk 67:22

أَفَمَن يَمشى مُكِبًّا عَلىٰ وَجهِهِ أَهدىٰ أَمَّن يَمشى سَوِيًّا عَلىٰ صِرٰطٍ مُستَقيمٍ

Is one who walks fallen on his face better guided, or one who walks upright on a straight path?

Al-Mulk 67:23

قُل هُوَ الَّذى أَنشَأَكُم وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمعَ وَالأَبصٰرَ وَالأَفـِٔدَةَ ۖ قَليلًا ما تَشكُرونَ

Say, “He is the One who brought you into being and gave you hearing, eyes, and hearts. How little you give thanks!”

Al-Mulk 67:24

قُل هُوَ الَّذى ذَرَأَكُم فِى الأَرضِ وَإِلَيهِ تُحشَرونَ

Say, “He is the One who spread you through the earth, and to Him you will be gathered.”

Al-Mulk 67:25

وَيَقولونَ مَتىٰ هٰذَا الوَعدُ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ

They say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?”

Al-Mulk 67:26

قُل إِنَّمَا العِلمُ عِندَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّما أَنا۠ نَذيرٌ مُبينٌ

Say, “The knowledge is only with The God. I am only a clear warner.”

Al-Mulk 67:27

فَلَمّا رَأَوهُ زُلفَةً سيـَٔت وُجوهُ الَّذينَ كَفَروا وَقيلَ هٰذَا الَّذى كُنتُم بِهِ تَدَّعونَ

When they see it close at hand, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, “This is what you were calling for.”

Al-Mulk 67:28

قُل أَرَءَيتُم إِن أَهلَكَنِىَ اللَّهُ وَمَن مَعِىَ أَو رَحِمَنا فَمَن يُجيرُ الكٰفِرينَ مِن عَذابٍ أَليمٍ

Say, “Tell me: whether The God destroys me and those with me or has mercy on us, who will protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?”

Al-Mulk 67:29

قُل هُوَ الرَّحمٰنُ ءامَنّا بِهِ وَعَلَيهِ تَوَكَّلنا ۖ فَسَتَعلَمونَ مَن هُوَ فى ضَلٰلٍ مُبينٍ

Say, “He is the Entirely Merciful. We believe in Him and put our trust in Him. You will come to know who is clearly astray.”

Al-Mulk 67:30

قُل أَرَءَيتُم إِن أَصبَحَ ماؤُكُم غَورًا فَمَن يَأتيكُم بِماءٍ مَعينٍ

Say, “Tell me: if your water sinks away, who will bring you flowing water?”
