بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Al-Adiyat 100:1

وَالعٰدِيٰتِ ضَبحًا

By the chargers, panting,

Al-Adiyat 100:2

فَالمورِيٰتِ قَدحًا

then those striking sparks,

Al-Adiyat 100:3

فَالمُغيرٰتِ صُبحًا

then those raiding at dawn,

Al-Adiyat 100:4

فَأَثَرنَ بِهِ نَقعًا

raising dust thereby,

Al-Adiyat 100:5

فَوَسَطنَ بِهِ جَمعًا

and plunging thereby into the midst of a gathering.

Al-Adiyat 100:6

إِنَّ الإِنسٰنَ لِرَبِّهِ لَكَنودٌ

Indeed, the human being is deeply ungrateful to his Lord,

Al-Adiyat 100:7

وَإِنَّهُ عَلىٰ ذٰلِكَ لَشَهيدٌ

and he is surely a witness to that,

Al-Adiyat 100:8

وَإِنَّهُ لِحُبِّ الخَيرِ لَشَديدٌ

and he is surely intense in his love of wealth.

Al-Adiyat 100:9

أَفَلا يَعلَمُ إِذا بُعثِرَ ما فِى القُبورِ

Does he not know, when what is in the graves is overturned,

Al-Adiyat 100:10

وَحُصِّلَ ما فِى الصُّدورِ

and what is in the breasts is brought out,

Al-Adiyat 100:11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِم يَومَئِذٍ لَخَبيرٌ

that their Lord will, on that day, be fully aware of them?
