بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Al-Masad 111:1

تَبَّت يَدا أَبى لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ

May the two hands of Abu Lahab perish, and he has perished.

Al-Masad 111:2

ما أَغنىٰ عَنهُ مالُهُ وَما كَسَبَ

His wealth and what he earned did not avail him.

Al-Masad 111:3

سَيَصلىٰ نارًا ذاتَ لَهَبٍ

He will burn in a flaming fire,

Al-Masad 111:4

وَامرَأَتُهُ حَمّالَةَ الحَطَبِ

and his wife, the carrier of firewood,

Al-Masad 111:5

فى جيدِها حَبلٌ مِن مَسَدٍ

around her neck is a rope of twisted fibers.
