In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Mursalat 77:1
By those sent forth in succession,
Al-Mursalat 77:2
then those that blow fiercely,
Al-Mursalat 77:3
and those that spread abroad,
Al-Mursalat 77:4
then those that separate distinctly,
Al-Mursalat 77:5
then those that deliver a reminder,
Al-Mursalat 77:6
as an excuse or a warning,
Al-Mursalat 77:7
what you are promised will surely occur.
Al-Mursalat 77:8
When the stars are blotted out,
Al-Mursalat 77:9
and the sky is split open,
Al-Mursalat 77:10
and the mountains are scattered,
Al-Mursalat 77:11
and the messengers are assigned their appointed time,
Al-Mursalat 77:12
for what day have they been deferred?
Al-Mursalat 77:13
For the Day of Decision.
Al-Mursalat 77:14
What will make you know what the Day of Decision is?
Al-Mursalat 77:15
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:16
Did We not destroy the earlier peoples?
Al-Mursalat 77:17
Then We will make the later ones follow them.
Al-Mursalat 77:18
Thus do We deal with the guilty.
Al-Mursalat 77:19
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:20
Did We not create you from a lowly fluid,
Al-Mursalat 77:21
then place it in a secure resting place,
Al-Mursalat 77:22
until a known term?
Al-Mursalat 77:23
We determined it, and how excellent are We at determining!
Al-Mursalat 77:24
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:25
Did We not make the earth a receptacle,
Al-Mursalat 77:26
for the living and the dead?
Al-Mursalat 77:27
We placed lofty, firmly set mountains in it and gave you sweet water to drink.
Al-Mursalat 77:28
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:29
Go toward what you used to deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:30
Go toward a shadow with three branches,
Al-Mursalat 77:31
neither providing shade nor offering protection from the flame.
Al-Mursalat 77:32
It throws sparks like a palace,
Al-Mursalat 77:33
as though they were yellow camels.
Al-Mursalat 77:34
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:35
This is a day when they will not speak,
Al-Mursalat 77:36
nor will they be permitted to offer excuses.
Al-Mursalat 77:37
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:38

This is the Day of Decision. We have gathered you and the earlier peoples.
Al-Mursalat 77:39
If you have a scheme, then scheme against Me!
Al-Mursalat 77:40
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:41
The mindful will be among shades and springs,
Al-Mursalat 77:42
and fruits of whatever they desire.
Al-Mursalat 77:43
“Eat and drink with enjoyment for what you used to do.”
Al-Mursalat 77:44
Thus do We reward those who do good.
Al-Mursalat 77:45
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:46
Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; you are guilty.
Al-Mursalat 77:47
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:48
When they are told to bow, they do not bow.
Al-Mursalat 77:49
Woe that day to those who deny!
Al-Mursalat 77:50
In what discourse after this will they believe?
