In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:1
Woe to those who give short measure,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:2
who, when they take a measure from people, take it in full,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:3
but when they measure or weigh for them, give less.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:4
Do they not think that they will be raised,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:5
for a tremendous day,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:6
a day when people stand before the Lord of the worlds?
Al-Mutaffifin 83:7
No indeed! The record of the wicked is in Sijjin.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:8
What will make you know what Sijjin is?
Al-Mutaffifin 83:9
An inscribed record.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:10
Woe that day to those who deny,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:11
who deny the Day of Recompense.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:12
None denies it except a sinful transgressor.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:13
When Our signs are recited to him, he says, “Tales of the ancients.”
Al-Mutaffifin 83:14

No indeed! What they used to earn has rusted over their hearts.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:15
No indeed! That day they will be veiled from their Lord.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:16
Then they will enter the blazing fire.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:17
Then it will be said, “This is what you used to deny.”
Al-Mutaffifin 83:18
No indeed! The record of the righteous is in Illiyyin.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:19
What will make you know what Illiyyun is?
Al-Mutaffifin 83:20
An inscribed record,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:21
witnessed by those brought near.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:22
The righteous will be in bliss,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:23
looking from couches.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:24
You will recognize the radiance of bliss in their faces.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:25
They will be given a pure, sealed drink,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:26

whose seal is musk. For this let those who compete compete.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:27
Its mixture is from Tasnim,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:28
a spring from which those brought near drink.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:29
Those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:30
and when they passed by them, they winked at one another,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:31
and when they returned to their families, they returned amused,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:32
and when they saw them, they said, “These are surely astray.”
Al-Mutaffifin 83:33
Yet they had not been sent as keepers over them.
Al-Mutaffifin 83:34
So today those who believed laugh at the disbelievers,
Al-Mutaffifin 83:35
looking from couches.

Have the disbelievers been repaid for what they used to do?
