In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:1
When the sky splits apart,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:2
and listens to its Lord, as it rightly should,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:3
and when the earth is stretched out,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:4
and casts out what is within it and becomes empty,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:5
and listens to its Lord, as it rightly should,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:6
O human, you toil toward your Lord with effort, and you will meet Him.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:7
As for the one who is given his record in his right hand,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:8
he will receive an easy accounting,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:9
and return to his family rejoicing.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:10
But as for the one who is given his record behind his back,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:11
he will call for destruction,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:12
and enter a blazing fire.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:13
He used to be joyful among his family.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:14
He thought that he would never return.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:15
Yes indeed! His Lord was watching him.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:16
So I swear by the twilight glow,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:17
and by the night and what it gathers,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:18
and by the moon when it becomes full,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:19
you will surely pass from one state to another.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:20
What is the matter with them that they do not believe,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:21
۩
and when the Quran is recited to them, they do not prostrate?
Al-Inshiqaq 84:22
Rather, those who disbelieve deny,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:23
and The God knows best what they keep within.
Al-Inshiqaq 84:24
So give them tidings of a painful punishment,
Al-Inshiqaq 84:25
except those who believe and do righteous deeds; for them is an unending reward.
