·The Originator·45 Verses

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Fatir 35:1

ۚ ۚ

Praise belongs to The God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, who makes the angels messengers with wings, two, three, and four. He adds to creation whatever He wills. Indeed, The God is capable of all things.

Fatir 35:2

ۖ ۚ

Whatever mercy The God opens for people, none can withhold; and whatever He withholds, none can release after Him. And He is the Mighty, the Wise.

Fatir 35:3

ۚ ۚ ۖ

O people, remember the favor of The God upon you. Is there any creator other than The God who provides for you from heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him. How then are you turned away?

Fatir 35:4

ۚ

And if they deny you, messengers before you were also denied. And to The God all matters are returned.

Fatir 35:5

ۖ ۖ

O people, the promise of The God is true. So let not the worldly life deceive you, and let not the deceiver deceive you about The God.

Fatir 35:6

ۚ

Indeed, Satan is an enemy to you, so take him as an enemy. He only calls his party so that they may be among the companions of the blaze.

Fatir 35:7

ۖ

Those who disbelieved will have a severe punishment, and those who believed and did righteous deeds will have forgiveness and a great reward.

Fatir 35:8

ۖ ۖ ۚ

What of one whose evil deed has been made attractive to him, so that he sees it as good? Indeed, The God leads astray whom He wills and guides whom He wills. So let not your soul depart in regrets over them. Indeed, The God knows what they do.

Fatir 35:9

ۚ

And The God is the One who sends the winds, and they stir up a cloud; then We drive it to a dead land and revive the earth with it after its death. Such is the resurrection.

Fatir 35:10

ۚ ۚ ۖ

Whoever desires might, all might belongs to The God. To Him good words ascend, and righteous action raises them. And those who plot evil deeds will have a severe punishment, and their plotting will perish.

Fatir 35:11

ۚ ۚ ۚ

And The God created you from dust, then from a drop, then made you pairs. No female carries or gives birth except with His knowledge. And no one is granted a long life, nor is any of his life diminished, except that it is in a Book. Indeed, that is easy for The God.

Fatir 35:12

ۖ ۖ

And the two seas are not alike: one is fresh and sweet, pleasant to drink, and the other salty and bitter. From each you eat fresh flesh and extract ornaments that you wear. And you see ships plowing through it, so that you may seek His bounty and perhaps give thanks.

Fatir 35:13

ۚ ۚ

He causes the night to enter the day and the day to enter the night, and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running for an appointed term. That is The God, your Lord; sovereignty belongs to Him. And those you call upon besides Him do not possess even the skin of a date stone.

Fatir 35:14

ۖ ۚ

If you call upon them, they do not hear your call; and even if they heard, they would not answer you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will disown your associating partners. And none informs you like One who is aware.

Fatir 35:15

ۖ

O people, you are the ones in need of The God, and The God is the Self-Sufficient, the Praiseworthy.

Fatir 35:16

If He wills, He can remove you and bring a new creation,

Fatir 35:17

and that is not difficult for The God.

Fatir 35:18

ۚ ۗ ۚ ۚ

And no bearer bears another’s burden. And if one heavily burdened calls for its load to be carried, nothing of it will be carried, even by a close relative. You only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and establish prayer. And whoever purifies himself does so only for himself. And to The God is the destination.

Fatir 35:19

And the blind and the seeing are not equal,

Fatir 35:20

nor darkness and light,

Fatir 35:21

nor shade and scorching heat,

Fatir 35:22

ۚ ۖ

And the living and the dead are not equal. Indeed, The God makes whom He wills hear, and you cannot make those in the graves hear.

Fatir 35:23

You are only a warner.

Fatir 35:24

ۚ

We have sent you with the truth, as a bearer of good tidings and a warner. And there is no community in which a warner has not passed.

Fatir 35:25

And if they deny you, those before them also denied. Their messengers came to them with clear proofs, scriptures, and the illuminating Book.

Fatir 35:26

ۖ

Then I seized those who disbelieved. So how was My repudiation?

Fatir 35:27

ۚ

Have you not seen that The God sent down water from the sky, and with it We brought forth fruits of differing colors? And among the mountains are streaks, white and red, of differing colors, and intensely black.

Fatir 35:28

ۗ ۗ

And among people, creatures, and livestock are differing colors likewise. Only the knowledgeable among His servants fear The God. Indeed, The God is Mighty, Forgiving.

Fatir 35:29

Indeed, those who recite the Book of The God, establish prayer, and spend secretly and openly from what We have provided them hope for a trade that will never perish,

Fatir 35:30

ۚ

so that He may pay them their rewards in full and increase them from His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving, Appreciative.

Fatir 35:31

ۗ

And what We have revealed to you of the Book is the truth, confirming what came before it. Indeed, The God is Aware of His servants, Seeing.

Fatir 35:32

ۖ ۚ

Then We made those We chose from Our servants inherit the Book. Among them are those who wrong themselves, among them those who are moderate, and among them those who lead in good deeds by the permission of The God. That is the great bounty.

Fatir 35:33

ۖ

Gardens of lasting residence which they enter, adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing therein is silk.

Fatir 35:34

ۖ

And they say: Praise belongs to The God, who has removed sorrow from us. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving, Appreciative,

Fatir 35:35

the One who, from His bounty, settled us in the abode of permanence. No toil touches us in it, nor does weariness touch us.

Fatir 35:36

ۚ

And those who disbelieved will have the fire of Hell. It is not decreed for them that they should die, nor is its punishment lightened for them. Thus We repay every deeply ungrateful one.

Fatir 35:37

ۚ ۖ

And they cry out in it: Our Lord, bring us out, and we will do righteousness, unlike what we used to do. Did We not give you a life long enough for whoever would take heed to take heed, and the warner came to you? So taste; the wrongdoers have no helper.

Fatir 35:38

ۚ

Indeed, The God knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth. Indeed, He knows what is within the breasts.

Fatir 35:39

ۚ ۖ ۖ

He is the One who made you successors on earth. Whoever disbelieves, his disbelief is against himself. And the disbelief of the disbelievers increases them only in abhorrence with their Lord, and increases them only in loss.

Fatir 35:40

ۚ

Say: Have you considered your partners whom you call upon besides The God? Show me what they have created of the earth. Or do they have a share in the heavens? Or have We given them a Book so that they stand upon clear evidence from it? Rather, the wrongdoers promise one another only delusion.

Fatir 35:41

ۚ ۚ

Indeed, The God holds the heavens and the earth lest they cease to be; and if they were to cease, no one after Him could hold them. Indeed, He is Forbearing, Forgiving.

Fatir 35:42

ۖ

And they swore by The God their strongest oaths that, if a warner came to them, they would surely be better guided than one of the communities. But when a warner came to them, it increased them only in aversion,

Fatir 35:43

ۚ ۚ ۚ ۖ

out of arrogance on earth and evil plotting. But evil plotting encompasses only its own people. Do they await anything but the way of the former peoples? You will never find any change in the way of The God, nor any turning aside in the way of The God.

Fatir 35:44

ۚ ۚ

Have they not traveled through the earth and seen the outcome of those before them, who were stronger than they? Nothing in the heavens or the earth can render The God powerless. Indeed, He is Knowing, Capable.

Fatir 35:45

ۖ

And if The God took people to account for what they have earned, He would leave no creature upon its surface. But He delays them until an appointed term. Then when their term comes, indeed, The God is Seeing of His servants.
