بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Al-Hujurat 49:1

يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا لا تُقَدِّموا بَينَ يَدَىِ اللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَميعٌ عَليمٌ

You who believe, do not go ahead of The God and His messenger, and be mindful of The God. The God is Hearing, Knowing.

Al-Hujurat 49:2

يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا لا تَرفَعوا أَصوٰتَكُم فَوقَ صَوتِ النَّبِىِّ وَلا تَجهَروا لَهُ بِالقَولِ كَجَهرِ بَعضِكُم لِبَعضٍ أَن تَحبَطَ أَعمٰلُكُم وَأَنتُم لا تَشعُرونَ

You who believe, do not raise your voices above the prophet’s voice, nor speak loudly to him as you speak loudly to one another, lest your deeds become fruitless while you are unaware.

Al-Hujurat 49:3

إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَغُضّونَ أَصوٰتَهُم عِندَ رَسولِ اللَّهِ أُولٰئِكَ الَّذينَ امتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قُلوبَهُم لِلتَّقوىٰ ۚ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَأَجرٌ عَظيمٌ

Those who lower their voices in the presence of the messenger of The God are those whose hearts The God has tested for mindfulness. For them there is forgiveness and a great reward.

Al-Hujurat 49:4

إِنَّ الَّذينَ يُنادونَكَ مِن وَراءِ الحُجُرٰتِ أَكثَرُهُم لا يَعقِلونَ

Most of those who call you from behind the chambers do not reason.

Al-Hujurat 49:5

وَلَو أَنَّهُم صَبَروا حَتّىٰ تَخرُجَ إِلَيهِم لَكانَ خَيرًا لَهُم ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ

Had they waited patiently until you came out to them, it would have been better for them. The God is Forgiving, Especially Merciful.

Al-Hujurat 49:6

يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا إِن جاءَكُم فاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنوا أَن تُصيبوا قَومًا بِجَهٰلَةٍ فَتُصبِحوا عَلىٰ ما فَعَلتُم نٰدِمينَ

You who believe, if a defiant person brings you news, ascertain it, lest you harm a people in ignorance and become regretful over what you have done.

Al-Hujurat 49:7

وَاعلَموا أَنَّ فيكُم رَسولَ اللَّهِ ۚ لَو يُطيعُكُم فى كَثيرٍ مِنَ الأَمرِ لَعَنِتُّم وَلٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيكُمُ الإيمٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فى قُلوبِكُم وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيكُمُ الكُفرَ وَالفُسوقَ وَالعِصيانَ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الرّٰشِدونَ

Know that the messenger of The God is among you. If he obeyed you in many matters, you would fall into hardship. But The God has made faith dear to you and adorned it in your hearts, and has made disbelief, defiance, and disobedience hateful to you. Those are the rightly guided,

Al-Hujurat 49:8

فَضلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَنِعمَةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَليمٌ حَكيمٌ

As a bounty and favor from The God. The God is Knowing, Wise.

Al-Hujurat 49:9

وَإِن طائِفَتانِ مِنَ المُؤمِنينَ اقتَتَلوا فَأَصلِحوا بَينَهُما ۖ فَإِن بَغَت إِحدىٰهُما عَلَى الأُخرىٰ فَقٰتِلُوا الَّتى تَبغى حَتّىٰ تَفىءَ إِلىٰ أَمرِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن فاءَت فَأَصلِحوا بَينَهُما بِالعَدلِ وَأَقسِطوا ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَ

If two groups of believers fight, make peace between them. If one transgresses against the other, fight the one that transgresses until it returns to the command of The God. If it returns, make peace between them with justice and act equitably. The God loves those who act equitably.

Al-Hujurat 49:10

إِنَّمَا المُؤمِنونَ إِخوَةٌ فَأَصلِحوا بَينَ أَخَوَيكُم ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُم تُرحَمونَ

The believers are brothers, so make peace between your two brothers and be mindful of The God, so that you may receive mercy.

Al-Hujurat 49:11

يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنوا لا يَسخَر قَومٌ مِن قَومٍ عَسىٰ أَن يَكونوا خَيرًا مِنهُم وَلا نِساءٌ مِن نِساءٍ عَسىٰ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيرًا مِنهُنَّ ۖ وَلا تَلمِزوا أَنفُسَكُم وَلا تَنابَزوا بِالأَلقٰبِ ۖ بِئسَ الِاسمُ الفُسوقُ بَعدَ الإيمٰنِ ۚ وَمَن لَم يَتُب فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الظّٰلِمونَ

You who believe, let no people mock another people; they may be better than them. Nor let women mock other women; they may be better than them. Do not disparage yourselves or call one another by nicknames. Evil is the name of defiance after faith. Those who do not repent are the wrongdoers.

Al-Hujurat 49:12

يٰأَيُّهَا الَّذينَ ءامَنُوا اجتَنِبوا كَثيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعضَ الظَّنِّ إِثمٌ ۖ وَلا تَجَسَّسوا وَلا يَغتَب بَعضُكُم بَعضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُم أَن يَأكُلَ لَحمَ أَخيهِ مَيتًا فَكَرِهتُموهُ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوّابٌ رَحيمٌ

You who believe, avoid much suspicion; some suspicion is a sin. Do not spy or backbite one another. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would loathe it. Be mindful of The God; The God accepts repentance and is Especially Merciful.

Al-Hujurat 49:13

يٰأَيُّهَا النّاسُ إِنّا خَلَقنٰكُم مِن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثىٰ وَجَعَلنٰكُم شُعوبًا وَقَبائِلَ لِتَعارَفوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكرَمَكُم عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتقىٰكُم ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَليمٌ خَبيرٌ

People, We created you from a male and a female and made you peoples and tribes so that you may know one another. The most honored of you with The God is the most mindful of you. The God is Knowing, Aware.

Al-Hujurat 49:14

قالَتِ الأَعرابُ ءامَنّا ۖ قُل لَم تُؤمِنوا وَلٰكِن قولوا أَسلَمنا وَلَمّا يَدخُلِ الإيمٰنُ فى قُلوبِكُم ۖ وَإِن تُطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسولَهُ لا يَلِتكُم مِن أَعمٰلِكُم شَيـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ

The desert Arabs said: We believe. Say: You have not believed; rather, say: We have submitted, for faith has not yet entered your hearts. If you obey The God and His messenger, He will diminish nothing of your deeds. The God is Forgiving, Especially Merciful.

Al-Hujurat 49:15

إِنَّمَا المُؤمِنونَ الَّذينَ ءامَنوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسولِهِ ثُمَّ لَم يَرتابوا وَجٰهَدوا بِأَموٰلِهِم وَأَنفُسِهِم فى سَبيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الصّٰدِقونَ

The believers are only those who believe in The God and His messenger, then do not doubt, and strive with their wealth and their lives in the way of The God. Those are the truthful.

Al-Hujurat 49:16

قُل أَتُعَلِّمونَ اللَّهَ بِدينِكُم وَاللَّهُ يَعلَمُ ما فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَما فِى الأَرضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىءٍ عَليمٌ

Say: Are you informing The God of your religion, while The God knows what is in the heavens and what is on earth? The God knows everything.

Al-Hujurat 49:17

يَمُنّونَ عَلَيكَ أَن أَسلَموا ۖ قُل لا تَمُنّوا عَلَىَّ إِسلٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيكُم أَن هَدىٰكُم لِلإيمٰنِ إِن كُنتُم صٰدِقينَ

They count their submission as a favor to you. Say: Do not count your submission as a favor to me. Rather, The God has favored you by guiding you to faith, if you are truthful.

Al-Hujurat 49:18

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعلَمُ غَيبَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بَصيرٌ بِما تَعمَلونَ

The God knows the unseen of the heavens and the earth, and The God sees what you do.
