بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

Qaf 50:1

ق ۚ وَالقُرءانِ المَجيدِ

Qaf. By the glorious Quran.

Qaf 50:2

بَل عَجِبوا أَن جاءَهُم مُنذِرٌ مِنهُم فَقالَ الكٰفِرونَ هٰذا شَىءٌ عَجيبٌ

Rather, they were astonished that a warner from among themselves came to them, and the disbelievers said: This is a strange thing.

Qaf 50:3

أَءِذا مِتنا وَكُنّا تُرابًا ۖ ذٰلِكَ رَجعٌ بَعيدٌ

When we have died and become dust? That is a far-fetched return.

Qaf 50:4

قَد عَلِمنا ما تَنقُصُ الأَرضُ مِنهُم ۖ وَعِندَنا كِتٰبٌ حَفيظٌ

We know what the earth takes away from them, and with Us is a preserving book.

Qaf 50:5

بَل كَذَّبوا بِالحَقِّ لَمّا جاءَهُم فَهُم فى أَمرٍ مَريجٍ

Rather, they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused state.

Qaf 50:6

أَفَلَم يَنظُروا إِلَى السَّماءِ فَوقَهُم كَيفَ بَنَينٰها وَزَيَّنّٰها وَما لَها مِن فُروجٍ

Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We built and adorned it, and how it has no cracks?

Qaf 50:7

وَالأَرضَ مَدَدنٰها وَأَلقَينا فيها رَوٰسِىَ وَأَنبَتنا فيها مِن كُلِّ زَوجٍ بَهيجٍ

We spread out the earth, cast firm mountains into it, and made every delightful pair grow in it,

Qaf 50:8

تَبصِرَةً وَذِكرىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبدٍ مُنيبٍ

As insight and a reminder for every servant who turns back.

Qaf 50:9

وَنَزَّلنا مِنَ السَّماءِ ماءً مُبٰرَكًا فَأَنبَتنا بِهِ جَنّٰتٍ وَحَبَّ الحَصيدِ

We sent down blessed water from the sky and grew with it gardens and grain for harvest,

Qaf 50:10

وَالنَّخلَ باسِقٰتٍ لَها طَلعٌ نَضيدٌ

And tall palms with closely layered clusters,

Qaf 50:11

رِزقًا لِلعِبادِ ۖ وَأَحيَينا بِهِ بَلدَةً مَيتًا ۚ كَذٰلِكَ الخُروجُ

As provision for the servants. With it We revived a dead land; thus is the coming forth.

Qaf 50:12

كَذَّبَت قَبلَهُم قَومُ نوحٍ وَأَصحٰبُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمودُ

Before them the people of Noah, the people of Rass, and Thamud denied,

Qaf 50:13

وَعادٌ وَفِرعَونُ وَإِخوٰنُ لوطٍ

And Ad, Pharaoh, and the brothers of Lot,

Qaf 50:14

وَأَصحٰبُ الأَيكَةِ وَقَومُ تُبَّعٍ ۚ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعيدِ

And the people of the thicket and the people of Tubba. All denied the messengers, so My warning came true.

Qaf 50:15

أَفَعَيينا بِالخَلقِ الأَوَّلِ ۚ بَل هُم فى لَبسٍ مِن خَلقٍ جَديدٍ

Were We wearied by the first creation? Rather, they are in doubt about a new creation.

Qaf 50:16

وَلَقَد خَلَقنَا الإِنسٰنَ وَنَعلَمُ ما تُوَسوِسُ بِهِ نَفسُهُ ۖ وَنَحنُ أَقرَبُ إِلَيهِ مِن حَبلِ الوَريدِ

We certainly created the human being and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein.

Qaf 50:17

إِذ يَتَلَقَّى المُتَلَقِّيانِ عَنِ اليَمينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمالِ قَعيدٌ

When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left.

Qaf 50:18

ما يَلفِظُ مِن قَولٍ إِلّا لَدَيهِ رَقيبٌ عَتيدٌ

He utters no word without a watcher ready beside him.

Qaf 50:19

وَجاءَت سَكرَةُ المَوتِ بِالحَقِّ ۖ ذٰلِكَ ما كُنتَ مِنهُ تَحيدُ

The stupor of death comes in truth: This is what you used to evade.

Qaf 50:20

وَنُفِخَ فِى الصّورِ ۚ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الوَعيدِ

The Trumpet is blown: This is the Day of the Warning.

Qaf 50:21

وَجاءَت كُلُّ نَفسٍ مَعَها سائِقٌ وَشَهيدٌ

Every soul comes, with a driver and a witness.

Qaf 50:22

لَقَد كُنتَ فى غَفلَةٍ مِن هٰذا فَكَشَفنا عَنكَ غِطاءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ اليَومَ حَديدٌ

You were heedless of this; We have removed your covering, and your sight today is sharp.

Qaf 50:23

وَقالَ قَرينُهُ هٰذا ما لَدَىَّ عَتيدٌ

His companion says: This is what is ready with me.

Qaf 50:24

أَلقِيا فى جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفّارٍ عَنيدٍ

You two, cast into Hell every stubborn disbeliever,

Qaf 50:25

مَنّاعٍ لِلخَيرِ مُعتَدٍ مُريبٍ

A hinderer of good, a transgressor, a doubter,

Qaf 50:26

الَّذى جَعَلَ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلٰهًا ءاخَرَ فَأَلقِياهُ فِى العَذابِ الشَّديدِ

Who set up another god alongside The God; you two, cast him into the severe punishment.

Qaf 50:27

قالَ قَرينُهُ رَبَّنا ما أَطغَيتُهُ وَلٰكِن كانَ فى ضَلٰلٍ بَعيدٍ

His companion says: Our Lord, I did not make him transgress; rather, he was in far error.

Qaf 50:28

قالَ لا تَختَصِموا لَدَىَّ وَقَد قَدَّمتُ إِلَيكُم بِالوَعيدِ

He says: Do not dispute before Me; I sent you the warning beforehand.

Qaf 50:29

ما يُبَدَّلُ القَولُ لَدَىَّ وَما أَنا۠ بِظَلّٰمٍ لِلعَبيدِ

The word is not changed with Me, and I am not unjust to the servants.

Qaf 50:30

يَومَ نَقولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امتَلَأتِ وَتَقولُ هَل مِن مَزيدٍ

The day We say to Hell: Are you full? And it says: Is there more?

Qaf 50:31

وَأُزلِفَتِ الجَنَّةُ لِلمُتَّقينَ غَيرَ بَعيدٍ

The Garden is brought near to the mindful, not far away.

Qaf 50:32

هٰذا ما توعَدونَ لِكُلِّ أَوّابٍ حَفيظٍ

This is what you are promised, for every one who turns back and keeps watch,

Qaf 50:33

مَن خَشِىَ الرَّحمٰنَ بِالغَيبِ وَجاءَ بِقَلبٍ مُنيبٍ

Who feared the Entirely Merciful unseen and came with a heart turning back.

Qaf 50:34

ادخُلوها بِسَلٰمٍ ۖ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الخُلودِ

Enter it in peace; this is the day of lasting life.

Qaf 50:35

لَهُم ما يَشاءونَ فيها وَلَدَينا مَزيدٌ

They have whatever they wish in it, and with Us there is more.

Qaf 50:36

وَكَم أَهلَكنا قَبلَهُم مِن قَرنٍ هُم أَشَدُّ مِنهُم بَطشًا فَنَقَّبوا فِى البِلٰدِ هَل مِن مَحيصٍ

How many generations We destroyed before them who were mightier than them in force! They traversed the lands; is there any escape?

Qaf 50:37

إِنَّ فى ذٰلِكَ لَذِكرىٰ لِمَن كانَ لَهُ قَلبٌ أَو أَلقَى السَّمعَ وَهُوَ شَهيدٌ

In this is surely a reminder for one who has a heart or gives ear while present.

Qaf 50:38

وَلَقَد خَلَقنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما فى سِتَّةِ أَيّامٍ وَما مَسَّنا مِن لُغوبٍ

We certainly created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and no weariness touched Us.

Qaf 50:39

فَاصبِر عَلىٰ ما يَقولونَ وَسَبِّح بِحَمدِ رَبِّكَ قَبلَ طُلوعِ الشَّمسِ وَقَبلَ الغُروبِ

Be patient with what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise before the rising of the sun and before sunset.

Qaf 50:40

وَمِنَ الَّيلِ فَسَبِّحهُ وَأَدبٰرَ السُّجودِ

Glorify Him during part of the night and after prostration.

Qaf 50:41

وَاستَمِع يَومَ يُنادِ المُنادِ مِن مَكانٍ قَريبٍ

Listen, on the day the caller calls from a nearby place,

Qaf 50:42

يَومَ يَسمَعونَ الصَّيحَةَ بِالحَقِّ ۚ ذٰلِكَ يَومُ الخُروجِ

The day they hear the cry in truth; that is the day of coming forth.

Qaf 50:43

إِنّا نَحنُ نُحيۦ وَنُميتُ وَإِلَينَا المَصيرُ

We are the ones who give life and cause death, and to Us is the return.

Qaf 50:44

يَومَ تَشَقَّقُ الأَرضُ عَنهُم سِراعًا ۚ ذٰلِكَ حَشرٌ عَلَينا يَسيرٌ

The day the earth splits open from them as they hasten forth; that gathering is easy for Us.

Qaf 50:45

نَحنُ أَعلَمُ بِما يَقولونَ ۖ وَما أَنتَ عَلَيهِم بِجَبّارٍ ۖ فَذَكِّر بِالقُرءانِ مَن يَخافُ وَعيدِ

We know best what they say, and you are not a compeller over them. So remind, with the Quran, whoever fears My warning.
