You who are wrapped in your garment,

Al-Muzzammil 73:2

or add to it, and recite the Quran in a measured manner.

We will cast upon you a weighty word.

Al-Muzzammil 73:18

ۚ

The sky will split apart because of it. His promise will be fulfilled.

Al-Muzzammil 73:19

ۖ

This is a reminder, so whoever wishes may take a path to his Lord.

Al-Muzzammil 73:20

ۚ ۚ ۖ ۚ ۙ ۙ ۖ ۚ ۚ ۚ ۖ

Your Lord knows that you stand for nearly two-thirds of the night, and half of it, and a third of it, as does a group of those with you. The God measures the night and the day. He knew that you would not be able to keep count of it, so He turned toward you. Recite, then, whatever is easy of the Quran. He knew that some of you would be ill, others traveling through the land seeking The God’s bounty, and others fighting in The God’s way. Recite, then, whatever is easy of it, establish prayer, give zakat, and lend The God a good loan. Whatever good you send ahead for yourselves, you will find it with The God, better and greater in reward. Seek The God’s forgiveness; The God is forgiving and merciful.
