In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Qiyamah 75:1
I swear by the Day of Resurrection,
Al-Qiyamah 75:2
and I swear by the self-reproaching soul.
Al-Qiyamah 75:3
Does the human being think that We will not gather his bones?
Al-Qiyamah 75:4
Yes indeed, We are able even to restore his fingertips.
Al-Qiyamah 75:5
Rather, the human being wishes to continue in wickedness ahead of him.
Al-Qiyamah 75:6
He asks, “When will the Day of Resurrection be?”
Al-Qiyamah 75:7
When the sight is dazzled,
Al-Qiyamah 75:8
and the moon is darkened,
Al-Qiyamah 75:9
and the sun and moon are brought together,
Al-Qiyamah 75:10
the human being will say that day, “Where is the escape?”
Al-Qiyamah 75:11
No indeed! There is no refuge.
Al-Qiyamah 75:12
With your Lord is the resting place that day.
Al-Qiyamah 75:13
That day the human being will be informed of what he sent ahead and left behind.
Al-Qiyamah 75:14
Rather, the human being is a discerning witness against himself,
Al-Qiyamah 75:15
even if he puts forward his excuses.
Al-Qiyamah 75:16
Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it.
Al-Qiyamah 75:17
Its gathering and recitation are upon Us.
Al-Qiyamah 75:18
When We recite it, follow its recitation.
Al-Qiyamah 75:19
Then its explanation is upon Us.
Al-Qiyamah 75:20
No indeed! Rather, you love the immediate life,
Al-Qiyamah 75:21
and leave aside the Hereafter.
Al-Qiyamah 75:22
Faces that day will be radiant,
Al-Qiyamah 75:23
looking toward their Lord.
Al-Qiyamah 75:24
And faces that day will be grim,
Al-Qiyamah 75:25
expecting a crushing calamity to be inflicted upon them.
Al-Qiyamah 75:26
No indeed! When it reaches the collarbones,
Al-Qiyamah 75:27
ۜ
and it is said, “Who can heal?”
Al-Qiyamah 75:28
and he realizes that it is the parting,
Al-Qiyamah 75:29
and leg is entwined with leg,
Al-Qiyamah 75:30
to your Lord will be the driving that day.
Al-Qiyamah 75:31
He neither affirmed the truth nor prayed,
Al-Qiyamah 75:32
but denied and turned away,
Al-Qiyamah 75:33
then went to his family, swaggering.
Al-Qiyamah 75:34
Woe to you, and woe!
Al-Qiyamah 75:35
Again, woe to you, and woe!
Al-Qiyamah 75:36
Does the human being think he will be left without purpose?
Al-Qiyamah 75:37
Was he not a drop of semen emitted?
Al-Qiyamah 75:38
Then he became a clinging clot, and He created and proportioned him,
Al-Qiyamah 75:39
and made from him the two sexes, male and female.
Al-Qiyamah 75:40
Is such a One not able to bring the dead to life?
