In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Buruj 85:1
By the sky with its constellations,
Al-Buruj 85:2
and by the promised day,
Al-Buruj 85:3
and by a witness and what is witnessed,
Al-Buruj 85:4
May the people of the trench perish,
Al-Buruj 85:5
the fire with its fuel,
Al-Buruj 85:6
when they sat beside it,
Al-Buruj 85:7
and witnessed what they were doing to the believers.
Al-Buruj 85:8
They resented them only because they believed in The God, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy,
Al-Buruj 85:9

to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. The God is witness over everything.
Al-Buruj 85:10
Those who persecuted believing men and women and then did not repent will have the punishment of Hell and the punishment of burning.
Al-Buruj 85:11

Those who believe and do righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.
Al-Buruj 85:12
Your Lord’s seizure is surely severe.
Al-Buruj 85:13
It is He who originates and restores,
Al-Buruj 85:14
and He is the Forgiving, the Loving,
Al-Buruj 85:15
Owner of the Throne, the Glorious,
Al-Buruj 85:16
doing whatever He wills.
Al-Buruj 85:17
Has the account of the armies reached you,
Al-Buruj 85:18
Pharaoh and Thamud?
Al-Buruj 85:19
Yet those who disbelieve persist in denial,
Al-Buruj 85:20
and The God encompasses them from behind.
Al-Buruj 85:21
Rather, this is a glorious Quran,
Al-Buruj 85:22
in a preserved tablet.
