In the name of The God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Al-Fajr 89:1
By the dawn,
Al-Fajr 89:2
and by ten nights,
Al-Fajr 89:3
and by the even and the odd,
Al-Fajr 89:4
and by the night as it passes.
Al-Fajr 89:5
Is there in this an oath for one of understanding?
Al-Fajr 89:6
Have you not seen how your Lord dealt with Ad,
Al-Fajr 89:7
Iram with its pillars,
Al-Fajr 89:8
the like of which had not been created in the lands,
Al-Fajr 89:9
and Thamud, who cut the rock in the valley,
Al-Fajr 89:10
and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes,
Al-Fajr 89:11
who transgressed in the lands,
Al-Fajr 89:12
and multiplied corruption in them?
Al-Fajr 89:13
So your Lord poured a scourge of punishment upon them.
Al-Fajr 89:14
Your Lord is surely watchful.
Al-Fajr 89:15
As for the human, when his Lord tests him, honors him, and grants him ease, he says, “My Lord has honored me.”
Al-Fajr 89:16
But when He tests him and restricts his provision, he says, “My Lord has humiliated me.”
Al-Fajr 89:17
ۖ
No indeed! You do not honor the orphan,
Al-Fajr 89:18
and you do not urge one another to feed the needy,
Al-Fajr 89:19
and you consume inheritance, devouring it altogether,
Al-Fajr 89:20
and you love wealth with an intense love.
Al-Fajr 89:21
No indeed! When the earth is crushed, pounding after pounding,
Al-Fajr 89:22
and your Lord comes, and the angels, row upon row,
Al-Fajr 89:23
ۚ
and Hell is brought that day, on that day the human will remember. But how will remembrance avail him?
Al-Fajr 89:24
He will say, “If only I had sent something ahead for my life!”
Al-Fajr 89:25
On that day no one punishes as He punishes,
Al-Fajr 89:26
and no one binds as He binds.
Al-Fajr 89:27
O tranquil soul,
Al-Fajr 89:28
return to your Lord, pleased and well-pleasing.
Al-Fajr 89:29
Enter among My servants,
Al-Fajr 89:30
and enter My garden.
